Join me LIVE on Good Day Rochester for a Last Minute Memorial Day Desserts Special!
This week I will be partnering with The National Mango Board to show you how to make three delicious ‘Last Minute Memorial Day Desserts’ with fresh Mango. The segment will air LIVE on Monday, May 27th, 2019 at 7:50am.
If you are heading to a family party or BBQ today, I have some quick and tasty ways to enjoy this super fun superfruit for dessert. Mangos are so deliciously sweet that they feel like a treat, but they’re extremely nutrient dense and can be a wholesome addition to your daily diet.
Featured Recipe #1 – Mini-Mango Fruit Tart
First up we have these cute Mini-Mango Fruit Tarts that are easy to make and more delicious to eat. Made with fresh fruit, nuts, and delicious mango cream, this recipe combines fresh mango with blueberries and blackberries.
Mangos are the sunniest fruit in the produce aisle, and this deliciously naturally sweet fruit is packed with vitamin C, vitamin A, folate and fiber, along with beneficial polyphenols or phytonutrients.

RECIPE 2: Chocolate Dipped Mango Pops
You know, many people don’t realize that there are six main varietals of mangos sold in the U.S. at different times throughout the year, which means mangos are always in season. That makes these delicious Chocolate Dipped Mango Pops perfect for any time of year, especially summertime.

Recipe #3: Into the Wild Kebabs
I love these Into the wild Kebabs which include fresh mango for a punch of color and nutrients, and you have a flavor-packed, kid approved treat!
Studies have explored the potential impact of mangos on heart health, blood pressure, weight management, diabetes and gut health.
