The ultimate comfort food and now it has been upgraded to include all the benefits of cannabis. Keep reading to find out how to make this delicious treat complete with multiple different infusion options.
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease two 9" loaf pans and set them aside.
In a small bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Make a well in the center and set it aside.
In a medium bowl, add the sugar and cannabutter. Then, with a hand mixer, cream the ingredients until the mix is smooth, light, and fluffy.
Add the eggs, bananas, and vanilla extract to the bowl of creamed ingredients. Beat until well incorporated.
Pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients bowl and mix until well combined. Do not over mix.
Pour the batter into the greased loaf pans. Set aside.
If adding the optional walnut streusel topping, mix the crushed walnuts, flour, coconut flakes, and sugar well in a small bowl.
Pour in the melted butter and mix all ingredients together.
Top each loaf of bread with the streusel topping.
Evenly space the loaf pans in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until you can insert a toothpick in the middle and it comes out clean.
Let cool on a baking rack for 20 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
Notes
This recipe makes 2, 9" loaves. You can choose to slice this as thin or thick as desired.
If you want to make smaller loaves, use three 3x5" loaf pans in place of each 9" loaf pan.
