Let’s work together

One-on-one medical nutrition therapy with a registered dietitian

I’m a registered dietitian with more than ten years of experience. Through Nourish, I now offer one-on-one medical nutrition therapy: personalized, judgment-free nutrition care for a health condition. Visits are online, and many insurance plans are accepted.

Disclosure: I’m a dietitian with Nourish. The booking links on this page are my referral links, and I may be compensated when you book through them. These visits are about your food and your health. They are not cannabis consultations.

What these visits are, and what they aren’t

Medical nutrition therapy is personalized nutrition care for a health condition, led by a registered dietitian. In plain words: we look at how you eat, how you live, and what your body needs, and we build a realistic plan together.

These visits are not about cannabis. I won’t give cannabis advice, dosing, or product guidance in your sessions, and they aren’t the place to ask about it. For cannabis education, my guides, recipes, and app here on this site are the best place to start.

Why I’m offering this now

For years, readers have written to ask whether they could work with me one on one. For a long time my answer was no, because I never offered nutrition counseling through this site.

That changed this fall when I joined Nourish. I can finally say yes, and I can do it without adding a complicated booking system to your life or mine. You pick a time, they handle the scheduling and insurance, and we get to the real work together.

How it works

  • Choose a time. Use the button on this page to open my profile on Nourish and pick a visit that fits your week.
  • Check your coverage. Nourish works with many insurance plans and will walk you through what to expect before you book.
  • Meet with me online. Your first visit is a conversation, not a test. We talk through your health history and your relationship with food, and you leave with one or two realistic goals and simple next steps.

Is this for you?

Medical nutrition therapy is a good fit if you’re managing diabetes or prediabetes, taking a GLP-1 medication, preparing for or recovering from bariatric surgery, or simply want steady, judgment-free support with eating well and your relationship with food.

You don’t need to have anything figured out ahead of time. There are no lectures and no blame. My approach is weight-neutral and research-focused, so you’ll get clear explanations of the why behind each recommendation, and steps you can start this week.

Common questions

Is it covered by insurance?
Nourish works with many insurance plans, and you can check your coverage when you sign up. Coverage varies by plan, so it’s worth confirming before your first visit.

Can I talk about cannabis in my visits?
No. Visits through Nourish are medical nutrition therapy, so cannabis isn’t part of them. For cannabis education, start with the guides and recipes on this site.

Where do sessions happen?
Online by video, so you can meet from home. Nourish will confirm during sign-up whether I can see you in your state.

What happens in the first session?
We talk through your health history and what you’d like to change, with no blame and nothing you need to have figured out ahead of time.

Do you work for Nourish?
Yes. I’m a registered dietitian with Nourish, and the booking links on this page are my referral links. I may be compensated when someone books through them.
