Alternate Cannabis Infusion Options
As with all things edibles, there is more than one way to infuse something. Below we will explore all of the different ways you could infuse this recipe.
- Cannabutter: This is the most popular way to infuse. You can buy my Bliss cannabutter or make your own with a: stovetop, crockpot, Instant Pot, kief, or CBD. You can adjust the amount of cannabutter used alongside regular butter to control your dose if needed.
- Cannabis oil: Coconut oil is a popular staple recipe essential for every kitchen; however, using liquid oils, like MCT oil or olive oil, may negatively affect the end product.
- Concentrates and extracts: Easily make these treats with concentrates like distillate or FECO. Just be sure to check if your concentrate needs to be decarbed first. Then, simply mix the concentrate with normal butter or coconut oil, and then prepare the recipe according to the instructions below with your mixture.
- Tincture: if you want to use an alcohol tincture in this recipe, be sure to evaporate the alcohol and make FECO first.
- Decarbed Flower: You can add decarbed flower or decarbed kief right into the flour mixture. Just be mindful of adding the right dose for you, especially if you are not a regular consumer of edibles.

We use cinnamon toast crunch minis (they are little balls and hubby found them when intending to get the regular cinnamon toast crunch) and they are delicious.
Oh Tammy! This sounds delightful!! Thank you for sharing.
I don’t like marshmallows, can I use something else to help it all stick together? Like peanut butter?
Absolutely Fran, peanut butter is a great alternative to marshmallows for these cannabis rice krispie treats. It offers a unique flavor and can be a good option if you’re not a fan of marshmallows. May may need to adjust the quantity to achieve the desired consistency and taste, but that’s a personal preference. Enjoy your treats!
